What would automating that task actually save?

Put in the hours a repeating task takes you and what an hour of your time is worth. This works it out live: no sign-up, nothing stored, nothing sent. Change the numbers and watch it update.

80%

Most automations still need a quick review, so all the way to 100% is rare. 70–90% is a realistic range.

Time saved a week4 hrs
Saved a week£160
Given back a year184 hrsabout £7,360

That is roughly 25 working days a year handed back to you. Now weigh that against the tool cost and the afternoon it takes to set up.

How the maths works

No magic, just honest arithmetic.

  • Time saved a week is your hours on the task times the share automation can realistically take off you. We default to 80% because most automations still need a quick review.
  • Money saved is that time valued at your hourly rate. Use what an hour of your time is worth to the business, not your take-home.
  • Given back a year assumes 46 working weeks, so holidays and quiet spells are already out. The working-days figure uses a 7.5-hour day.
  • It deliberately ignores the tool cost and setup time. Weigh the annual saving against those to get your real return. TheROI guide walks through the full sum.
