- Setting up your account, and the two things you're connectingCreate your free Zapier account and get the two apps ready: the form that catches the enquiry and the tools that reply and record it. Ten minutes, no card needed.
- Building the trigger: catching the enquiry the moment it landsThe first half of every automation is the trigger, the thing that starts it off. Build yours now: a new Zap that wakes up the second someone fills in your form.
- Building the first action: the instant replyAdd the first action to your Zap: an email that goes out the second someone enquires, in your own words, with their details dropped in automatically.
- Adding a second action, and a filterLog every enquiry to a follow-up list automatically, and add a filter so only the enquiries worth chasing make it onto the list.
- Testing it for realEvery step passed on its own. Now turn the whole thing on and run one real enquiry through it, start to finish, exactly as a customer would.
