What you'll work through.

  1. Find the hours: a 15-minute time auditBefore you automate anything, find out where your week actually goes. A quick, do-it-now audit that points you straight at the jobs worth removing first.
  2. Invoice reminders on autopilotBuild and test a polite reminder sequence in your accounting software, with clear timing and a person responsible for exceptions.
  3. Missed-call text-backWhen you cannot answer, an automatic text can confirm the call was received and open a written route for follow-up.
  4. Stop retyping the same emailA third of your inbox is the same handful of questions. Set up saved replies, then AI-drafted responses in your own voice, so you approve instead of type.
  5. Kill the booking back-and-forthA booking link can reduce calendar back-and-forth when availability, buffers, confirmations and exceptions are configured correctly.
  6. Automate the ask for reviewsA timed review request makes the ask consistent. Send it after completed work, invite honest feedback and never offer an incentive.Quick check
  7. The glue: connect your toolsWhen your tools cannot talk to each other, you become the glue, copying things across by hand. Zapier and Make are the glue instead. Build one real when-this-do-that and you'll get the idea for good.
  8. Decide what's worth itNot every automation is worth building. A simple way to put a pound value on a job, weigh it against the setup effort, and get a clear go or no-go before you spend an afternoon on it.
  9. Roll it out without breaking thingsThe safe way to put your automations live: one at a time, tested, watched for a fortnight, with a person still checking anything that touches a customer. Plus where to go next.
